The Fausts

Slowly I'm sliding into the family portrait season. What a great start if you meet so nice people like the Fausts. Actually the portrait shoot was a gift of one of there friends. Fausts recently moved to Colorado. I thought they might like my favorite park Lair o' the Baer. A little taste of Colorado.

Sharon & Mark

In Colorado, outside weddings in the late afternoon are always decorated with a big question mark: Are we getting the ceremony in before the rain starts or not? - Everyone is worried. Sharon didn't care. I shot her and Mark's wedding on Saturday at the Boettcher Mansion in Golden. "This is the happiest day in my life, because I marry my best friend. Not even the rain can stop this." While she told me that, she looked at her wonderful dress in the mirror. Sharon and Mark got lucky, the rain stopped right when their ceremony started. As always, I had a lot of fun. If you want to see all the images I took, than just go here, sign up and look for Sharon & Mark.

The Johnsons

Sunday is family day... what a nice tradition. I was out today with the Johnson family. They wanted me to take their family picture. We met at the Lair o' the Baer park in Morrison. I consider this park my out door studio. The Johnsons liked it so much that they decided to come back. If you want to see all the images I took, than just go here, sign up and look for the Johnsons.

On the road...

... with Denver's top wedding consultants. Every month the members of ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) arrange a caravan to several wedding venues in Colorado. It is always a lot of fun and also a great opportunity to get to know all the wonderful places, where people are getting married. One of the places we stopped this month was the wedding chapel at the Teikyo Loretto Hights Education Center. What a wonderful historical building on the highest point of Denver. When we checked out the theatre on the campus, and entered the make-up room in the basement, there was no holding the consultants back: They had to check out the mirrors.

Renee & Boris

To spend one day in Vail is already a wonderful treat. If you are able to spend your day at the Sonnenalp Resort of Vail, that is something really special. Today I had the honor to shoot Renee and Boris' wedding. Renee and Boris are a wonderful couple and I had a lot of fun at their wedding. The ceremony took place at the Wedding Deck in Vail and the reception was at the Sonnenalp Resort. If you want to see all the images I took, than just go

    Yoga

What a fun job. Yoga is actually not my thing. I guess if I would try it, I would also need ten helpers to get me out of the position again. But to take pictures of it... wow, I had a lot of fun, especially if all the people are so nice as they are at the YaYa Yoga studio. I really had a lot of fun.

    Colors

I proud to have my new brochure and a colorful postcard. I'm very happy how it turned out. Everyone gives me great compliments. As a matter of fact, I got two jobs to create a logo for a company and a brochhure for a Yoga studio. My new brochure and postcard show pictures from my last shootings. They also tell my clients about my services. If you are interested in getting one of the brochures, just drop me a line with your address and I would be happy to mail you a little package with all the information about pixelArts.

    New Website

The curtain is still down. I'm getting very excited about this whole project. I started it one year ago, with my friend Andreas. We thought about having a new web presentation for pixelArts. He told me that my current one is boring and just wrong. So I told him: "Go ahead and make it exciting again." A lot of ideas have been changed since then. Finally I asked a Denver agency for help. Now I just have to fill it up. It looks great and I hope I will be able to lift the curtain by the end of this week.

The week starts with senior pictures...

... and it was a lot of fun. I met Katie with her mother Helen at the horse stables in Parker/Co. The weather was beautiful. We had a strong thunderstorm the day before. Katie loves horses and of course she wanted to have them in her senior pictures and I love shooting on location. - A perfect match. After Katie showed me her favorite places, I got my camera. You can see here two of the wonderful shots we did. If you want to see all the images, just go to Pictage and type in the name Katie.

    Weekend off

No weddings this weekend. This is actually a good thing. My wife loves to have me at home. I try to play catch up with all the albums I have on my desk right now. I don't want my brides to wait for them. Meanwhile I found my favorite image of the month. I took it during the ABC Caravan in Colorado Springs. You can find those beautiful dresses at "de ma fille", the bridal boutique at "The Broadmoor.
