Kate & Martin

He is from Germany and arrived in Denver just before Christmas: Kate's fiance Martin. "He is my Christmas gift", Kate smiles and gives Martin a big Kiss. The wedding is in March. I met with Kate an Martin today for the engagement photo session. Beside the photos I had to answer a lot of questions. "Where can I buy good bread? Is there a German restaurant in town? Martin also admitted, that he still has a problem with the breakfast. In Germany we have Sausage and pancakes for dinner and crispy sourdough rolls with jam in the morning. He will get used to it. Wildlife and Snow

That was something: A ton of snow before Christmas. Great timing and I love it. It puts me in the right Christmas mood. I don't forget that a lot of people had big problems with all the snow. I have all the gifts wrapped, the last Christmas party is over... - now I can lean back and enjoy the holidays. I also enjoy the view out of my backyard door. I saw this deer today close to the window. I guess if I would have opened the door for him, he would have been inside of the house in a heart beat. "Sorry deer, you have to stay out side!"

Little Cecelia

25 five years in the photography business took me to a lot of beautiful places and let me experience many interesting situations. And there is still more. When Jacky and Mike asked me to shoot the delivery of their first baby Cecelia, I was speechless. Honestly I didn't know what to say in the first place. I shot Jackie and Mike's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and they loved their wedding pictures. They trusted me and that's why they came back and asked me to do this for them. I felt very honored. I was also hesitating to take this job. How does one shoot those pictures? That was my hesitation. I agreed to take the job. I spent almost 3 hours with them in the delivery room. Three hours I won't forget. Thank you again Jackie and Mike for sharing this very important moment in your life with me.
