Rock the Canon

I always liked music. My dad used to say: If you can whistle it, I like it. I'm the same way. I heart the canon in D Major by Johan Pachelbel the first time in Germany. It was used in a car commercial and I loved the song from the beginning. I had a hard time to find out what it is. You can imaging my surprise when I went to my first wedding in Colorado. There was the song ... and the next wedding there it was again. Now I found this one on YouTube. Certainly a new approach by this young, talented french musician named Mattrach. May be one day I have a bride who use his version, when she walks down the aisle. I hope so... enjoy. Jessica's senior photos

I met Jessica the first time a few weeks ago. She came with Mariana and her mom (photos above) in my studio. Jessica's job was to coach her friend Mariana during her senior photo session. Jessica did a great job. Mariana is happy with her photos. On Monday Jessica and Mariana were back. This time the jobs changed: Mariana coached her friend Jessica. Both girls did a reat job. May be I should hire them back for my next senior photo session.

Happy Birthday Char and Kate

Quite a party last weekend. Actually it was a wedding at the Grant-Humphrey's Mansion in Denver I was shooting. 150 happy guests and good food. It turned out that two of the vendors, Char the wedding cordinator (Everlasting Memories by Char, left) and Kate Hall (right), the second half of C&K Video, celebrated their birthday the same day. Happy Birthday Char and Kate from me and all the guests at the wedding.

Casual Wedding

What happen when the wedding invitation says casual attire and your friends show up in tuxedos? In case of Elizabeth and Lyle's wedding: a lot of fun. Lyle's friends from Canada came in colorful tuxedos to this wedding at the Arlberg Club in Winterpark. The guest had a blast and so had the photographer. Thank you Elizabeth and Lyle for having me at your wonderful wedding.

Engagement shoot with Cammy and Daryl

I just finished the engagement shoot with Cammy and Daryl. It was a blast. Cammy changed her outfit 3 times in her car. I was amazed how fast she was. My experience with Brides is that it usually takes them longer to get dressed. Cammy set a new record for me. We will see how the wedding at the end of August goes. I will let you know.

Rebecca and Steve

Rebbeca and Steve had a wonderful wedding at the Arrowhead Country Club. After the reception we headed down town Denver to shoot for over 2 hours. Thank you Steve and Rebecca.
