Cover photo

Larry Malohn is in love with his hobby. And like all the others, who have a hobby, Larry tried to create the perfect environment for his hobby. Larry lives that dream in a 1.700-square-foot workshop in Morrison Colorado. The Wood Magazine sent me to Larry to take photos of the workshop. For Larry a dream came true: The Magazine turned him and his workshop into the cover story. Congratulation Larry!

Russian Invasion

Last week I was hired to follow a delegation of 30 ardent Russian doctors and health care professionals, who were in Denver. The Rotary Club of Denver and five other clubs hosted the delegates, in partnership with 9Health Fair, Colorado’s largest volunteer-driven nonprofit health fair program, during a week long crash course on reviving Russia’s fallen health care system. They participated in the Open World Program to examine health fairs with the expectation of implementing the same type of exhibitions back home. Delegates observed several 9Health fairs in and around Denver.
The delegates, selected with the help of Rotarians in Russia, met with national, state, and city leaders throughout the week, exchanging information and ideas about the two countries’ health care systems. I really felt honored to be hired and cover the program throughout the week.

Denver Art Museum

Have you seen the new building at the Denver Art Museum? A masterpiece from Daniel Libeskind. I was assigned by a German News Agency to shoot the pictures during the media preview. Wow - I was overwhelmed with the beauty of this amazing building. I heard a journalist saying: "The Titanic has landed in Denver!" It's kinda funny and looking at the building you can get the idea that it is true. Daniel Libeskind told me that his idea actually came from the mountain range of the Rockies. Go to my website, pixelartsphotography and use the button CLIENTS and enter the password museum to see all the images.

Long time no see...

I know, I know - I was supposed to post a blog every day. But you know ... sometimes life happens in between things you are supposed to do. The last weeks have been packed with every day stuff. Now I'm through all of this things and I'm ready to start into the next season. I will post some photos of assignments I did during the last weeks. Lot's of fun stuff. I love photography! The photo shows me with Edward DeCroce. He is a great photographer from Denver and also a great guy. It was taken at one of the Colorado Photography Association meetings.
